specialist. It will enhance your diving experiences and make you a more
confident and comfortable diver.

Prerequisite:
- 15 years of age or older
- PADI Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent.
Course Structure:
- Academics are on a home-study basis (You read the materials at home
& we'll review them before the dives)
- 3 open water dives in addition to the one performed during your Advanced Open Water
certification.
Classroom:
- Planning, procedures and techniques.
- Risk factors and dive tables review.
- Safety stops and emergency decompression procedures.
- Special equipment, decent lines, and buoyancy control considerations.
- Procedures for flying after diving and high altitude diving.
- Orientation to decompression chambers.
Open Water Diving:
Four open water dives with certified PADI instructor are required to complete the PADI
Deep Diver Specialty course. Open waters are available at the Blue Hole and locally at the
Aurora Reservoir - see schedule.
Included:
- 1 classroom session
- Four open water dives with a certified PADI instructor.
- Tanks, weights and weight belts.
- 10% discount on all diving equipment purchased during your term as a student (course
materials, sale items and equipment rentals excluded).
Not Included:
- Deep Diver Student Kit ($49.95).
- Diving gear for the open water dives - BCD, regulator, wet suit, etc...
but may be rented during the course.
- Transportation, meals and accommodations for the open water dives.
- PADI certification fee to process your C-Card ($30.00) plus one passport
quality photo taken at the completion of the course.
