Ice Diving Specialty

Come join us for some fun under the ice. Learn how to dive safely in this frozen wonderland. The course will cover everything you need to know including: proper thermal protection, preparation, safety, equipment, and much, much more! This is a great introduction to technical overhead environments.

Drysuits are essential. A drysuit specialty or 10 logged dives in a drysuit are required. We will have a limited number of drysuits for rental ($50 per weekend), so please make reservations early.

You must also be an Advanced Diver or show proof of 20 logged dives beyond open water certification, with experience in deep, night, and navigation.

There will be one evening of class work and one evening of pool work. Location of the certification dives varies based on conditions and availability.
