Multi-Level Diver Specialty
Course
The PADI Multilevel Diver course is designed as an introduction to multilevel diving,
teaching you the necessary skills, knowledge and techniques to do multilevel dives.
Course Structure:
- 12 years of age or older
- PADI Open Water or Junior Open Water certification or equilavent
Classroom: The following information will be learned
and reviewed:
- The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of multilevel
diving.
- Definition and advantages of multilevel diving.
- Methods of calculating multilevel dives (The wheel and /or dive computers).
- Review of decompression sickness theory.
- review of emergency decompression procedures.
- Review of PADI's S.A.F.E. campaign.
- Procedures for flying after diving.
- Guidelines, rules and procedures for multilevel diving with the PADI Wheel and /or
diving computers.
- Care and maintenance of dive computers.
Open Water Diving:
Two open water dives with a certified PADI instructor are required to complete the PADI
Multilevel Diver course. Open waters are available at the Blue Hole or locally at the
Aurora Reservoir - see schedule.
Included:
- 1 classroom session
- 2 open water dives with a certified PADI Instructor.
- Tanks, weights and weight belts for open water dives.
- 10% discount on all diving equipment pruchased during your term as a student (course
materials, sale items and equipment rentals excluded).
Not Included:
- Diving gear for the open water dives - BCD, regulator, wet suit, etc.. but may be rented
during the course.
- Transportation, meals and accommodations for the open water dives.
- PADI "Adventures in Diving" Advanced Open Water Student kit.
- PADI Multilevel Dive Wheel.
- PADI certification fee to process your C-Card plus one passport quality photo taken at
the completion of the course.
