Open Water Certification Diving Course Structure
If you're on a hectic schedule and having problems
fitting into one of our regularly scheduled classes,this course
may be the one for you. We have designed this course so that
you can complete our classroom and pool sessions in almost half
the normal time and in the comfort of your own home.
I. ACADEMIC TRAINING:
The course begins with you taking home the PADI
Open Water Student Kit (includes the manual, log pages, recreational
dive planner, video) or PADI CD Rom crew pak (contains the log pages and
recreational dive planner and has the entire manual and videos on CD Rom
for you to view on your home computer). Then, the studying is up to you!
When you arrive for class, your instructor will go over your completed
homework and discuss the academics of diving (dive theory, dive tables,
etc.)
II. CONFINED WATER TRAINING:
The majority of your time at Underwater
Phantaseas will be spent diving in the comfort of our own heated, indoor
pool. Here you will learn the basic skills of diving designed to make
you feel comfortable and confident before going to the open water phase.
Choose from a variety of dates to plan your class.
III. OPEN WATER TRAINING:
The final and easiest segment of your training. Here you demonstrate what
you mastered in the pool and begin exploring the underwater world!

Extended Format Course
Designed for those who prefer to spend more time in the classroom and
pool and enjoy their course on a relaxed and extended schedule. Your time
will be spent evenly between the classroom and pool with less emphasis
on home study.
Private Executive Course
For those of you who can't fit our classes into your schedule or are
leaving soon for that exotic destination, we offer this course to meet
your needs with individual instructions. We can have you on your way within
