BALI & KOMODO

Lying 200 nautical miles east of Bali, Komodo National Park nestles between the large islands of Sumbawa and Flores, all of which are part of Indonesia's Lesser Sunda Islands (Nusa Tenggara on current maps). This unique biosphere was born in the great volcanic uplift that formed Sumatra, Java, Bali and the islands lying eastward to Papua New Guinea.

Following the standards of the Dancer Fleet, Komodo Dancer will replicate Peter Hughes Diving service, amenities and the highest standards of safety in the industry.
The 100 foot Komodo Dancer sails from Bali in style with all the amenities you expect of a Dancer Fleet vessel. Relax between dives on the ample open-air sundeck (with covered area). Komodo Dancer offers air conditioned comfort throughout the staterooms and all interior areas. All staterooms feature private heads and showers, plush terry bathrobes for use onboard, hair dryers and fresh room towels daily.

DIVING:
Komodo Island and national park reserve offers just about every type of tropical diving imaginable - from calm and colorful shallow reefs alive with hundreds of colorful reef fishes and crammed with invertebrates, to current-swept deep water sea mounts, walls and pinnacles patrolled by sharks, tuna and other big fish. The variety of marine life for scuba diving in Komodo rivals the world's best dive destinations. This is the world's epicentre for marine diversity and you'll see loads of stuff here on a diving cruise that you just won't see anywhere else in the world - From whale sharks, sunfish, mantas and eagle rays to pygmy seahorses, ornate ghost pipefish, clown frogfish, nudibranchs and blue-ringed octopus - all at home amongst a spectacular range of colorful sponges, sea squirts, tunicates and corals - a macro enthusiast's heaven.

THINGS TO DO:
In between dives, Komodo Dancer guests will explore the Komodo National Park. These islands are the natural home of the largest lizard in the world, the Komodo Dragon. Visitors will get to see these spectacular creatures in their natural habitat, while also enjoying the forests that are the home of flying lizards, Sunda deer, wild buffalo, boars, horses and tons of exotic birds.
When back in Bali, guests will be able to visit the local shops, galleries and cafes. The resort is near the sacred Monkey Forest, the Neka Museum and the Agung Rai Gallery. There are two different tours guests can take advantage of, a biking adventure on Kintamani volcano and a rafting trip on the Ayung River.
