BONAIRE

The Netherland Antilles

Bonaire is the Eastern-most Caribbean island in the “ABC” island chain, comprised of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. Located in the Netherlands Antilles, the island is 40 miles north of Venezuela and is 112 square miles. Long known as one of the Caribbean’s most outstanding dive destinations, Bonaire has something for everyone. It has beautiful shallow coral gardens teeming with brightly colored fish life, dramatic walls of hard and soft corals, and a large variety of unusual marine life. The shore diving in Bonaire is plentiful and easily accessible allowing the most avid divers the opportunity to do as much diving as they want. Even for the non-divers there is plenty to see such as the hundreds of wild flamingos, picturesque villages and even a pink beach.

DIVING:
Year after year, Bonaire is consistently rated THE BEST shore diving in the world. Reefs are always an easy swim from shore and the best sites are well marked. Six days of one tank boat dives and UNLIMITED air for beach diving will fully enable us to take advantage of the legendary Bonaire diving. With personal trucks and as many tanks as you want, you will literally be able to do as much diving as you can handle—anytime day or night! The water is warm and in the 80’s and is generally flat calm. This lack of surface turbulence and the fact that Bonaire’s surrounding reef wall lies directly offshore, makes Bonaire one of the world’s easiest and most enjoyable dive destinations.
