We are Denver's Premier 5 Star Dive and Travel Center!
We're Underwater Phantaseas, Denver's Premier 5 Star Dive and Travel Center, based in Lakewood, Colorado. We've been a PADI-certified facility for over 40 years, and we're proud of what that kind of track record means for our students and customers.
We hold PADI's highest facility rating: 5 Star Instructor Development Center. To earn and keep that designation, we meet strict standards set by the world's largest scuba certification organization.
Our PADI Open Water Diver course is where most people start. It's the world's most recognized scuba certification, and once you earn it, you're cleared to dive anywhere in the world to 60 feet. We walk you through the knowledge development at your own pace, skill work in our heated indoor pool, and then open water dives to put it all together. By the end, you're a certified diver for life.
Once you're certified, the learning doesn't have to stop there. We offer a full range of continuing education courses to help you dive deeper, safer, and smarter. Our PADI Advanced Open Water course expands your skills and takes you down to 100 feet. PADI Enriched Air Nitrox is one of our most popular specialties because it gives you longer bottom times and shorter surface intervals. And if you want to become the diver everyone else wants on their boat, our PADI Rescue Diver course teaches you how to prevent and manage problems in the water.
One thing we're especially proud of is that heated indoor pool. It means we can take the time your training actually needs, without weather or scheduling pressure cutting things short.
We carry a full selection of dive and snorkeling gear, and our students get a 10% discount on most items in the store. We also have a certified technician on-site to service your regulators, BCDs, and computers when it's time for annual maintenance.
And if you want to travel, we've got you covered there too. Stop in for free destination advice, or join us on one of our organized international trips to places like Bali, Fiji, the Red Sea, or Little Cayman.

We have the highest rating given to a PADI training facility. In order to attain this rating we must meet and maintain strict guidelines and controls set down by PADI - the largest and most recognized certification agency in the world.
Our heated, indoor pool in Denver allows us to take as much time as needed to work on your diving skills without rushing through the course due to time constraints. The pool is maintained at a very warm temperature for your enjoyment and comfort.
We offer Denver scuba divers a complete selection of both diving and snorkeling equipment. Our staff will help you select the equipment that is best suited for your needs. We provide our students a 10% discount on most items in the store. We also have an onsite, certified technician to help you maintain your equipment when it's time for annual servicing of regulators, bcds and computers.
