PREREQUISITES:

• Participants of all ages are welcome to attend this course
• No previous scuba certification is necessary

COURSE STRUCTURE:

• Recognizing diving illnesses treatable by emergency oxygen
• Assembling and disassembling emergency oxygen equipment
• Deploying a non-rebreather mask and a demand inhalator valve on a breathing diver
• Using a pocket mask on a non-breathing diver

CLASSROOM:

This course is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours of classroom training with a PADI certified instructor.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

• PADI Emergency O2 Provider Pack - $71.90
• PADI certification processing fee - $60.70

COURSE FEE:  $100.00

INCLUDED:

• Three hour course with a certified PADI instructor
• All equipment (emergency O2 unit, etc.) required for course
• 10% discount on all diving equipment purchased during your term as a student

EMERGENCY OXYGEN PROVIDER COURSE DATES:

Emergency O2 Provider courses are booked on an as-needed basis. Please contact Underwater Phantaseas to schedule a class and we will book you at your earliest convenience.

Any time a pressure related dive accident or near-drowning is suspected, 100% oxygen should be given following the primary assessment. In this course you will learn how to properly provide emergency oxygen first aid.

- No refunds on classes 30 days from original purchase date.
- Class cancellation/transfer policy: If 3 days' notice is not given to cancel/transfer a class, a $50 fee will be applied.
- Dives cancellation/transfer policy: If 3 days' notice is not given to cancel/transfer open water dives, a $50 fee will be applied.
